Cancer antigen 125 (CA-125) is used as one of the serological tests in screening for ovarian cancer (and closely related cancers, such as fallopian tube cancer and primary peritoneal carcinoma) in women at high risk, treatment monitoring, and in predicting treatment outcomes. CA-125 is an antigenic tumor marker expressed by epithelial ovarian neoplasms as well as by cells lining various organs, including the endometrium, fallopian tubes, pleura, peritoneum, and pericardium.
We offer several monoclonal anti-CA125 antibodies (Cat. # 4C29) in different formats, including the latest recombinant antibody RX16 for customers’ various assay development needs.

Cancer antigen 72-4 (CA72-4) is a tumor-associated glycoprotein (TAG-72) used as a tumor marker for gastrointestinal and ovarian cancers. Elevated CA72-4 levels in serum and plasma are seen in the pancreas, gallbladder, colon, cervix, and endometrium carcinomas. It is commonly used in combination with other tests to aid in the diagnosis and monitoring of gastric and ovarian cancers. Additionally, it serves as a marker for the therapeutic monitoring and care of ovarian cancer patients who are CA-125 negative.
Hytest offers two mouse monoclonal antibodies, 1C2cc and 7C1cc (Cat. # 4CA72), for the development of assays for the detection of CA72-4 antigen. 1C2cc (capture) and 7C1cc (detection) are suitable as a pair in sandwich immunoassays.
